On two stages and at numerous stands, visitors can look forward to a wide range of culinary delights and a varied program with lots of activities - including for the many young guests. White Dinner, Saturday, August 23, 2025 - canceled

Unfortunately, we had to cancel the event for health reasons and due to the weather forecast. If there is a rescheduled date, we will announce it here.

Panel discussion, Friday, August 29, 2025 – 6 p.m.

The American settlement in Plittersdorf is currently once again a topic of public discussion. That is why the association “Rettet die Amerikanische Siedlung Plittersdorf e.V.” (Save the American Settlement Plittersdorf) invited guests to discuss the following topics:

  • American Embassy Club - Open Embassy for Democracy Project - Is the project in danger of failing?
  • Massive tree felling in spring – why were so many trees cut down? No replanting in sight!
  • Increasing crime in the neighborhood—burglaries and property damage are on the rise. What plans does local government have to stop this trend?

Members of Bonn City Council, Bad Godesberg District Council, and representatives of Vebowag and its supervisory board addressed current issues in a panel discussion organized by RASP. During the event, the audience will also have the opportunity to ask questions. We look forward to a constructive exchange and hope to see many of you there. We would like to thank the participants for the lively exchange and discussion.

Open Monument Day, 14. September 2025

RASP once again offered guided tours of the settlement this year, which were attended by several hundred participants. We would like to thank everyone for their keen interest and hope that we were able to make a lasting impression.
This year’s motto: valuable, priceless or irreplaceable?
